He left the military feeling alone and chose to help others feel supported

Or served as a combat medic in the Shimshon Battalion's medical aid station from 2014 to 2016. After his discharge, he faced PTSD and a deep sense of abandonment, without the knowledge or guidance to understand what he was experiencing or where to turn.

He found his path to rehabilitation through his family and those close to him. Despite the difficulties and the price he paid, Or says he would not give up his military service or the belief with which he enlisted: those who serve their country should know that someone will stand beside them afterward, too.

Today, he speaks about his story and raises awareness of PTSD with a clear message: combat experiences need to be processed together, within a supportive family and community, without leaving those affected to face them alone.
